About This Policy
This policy describes how the GiftLink Wishlist Product Adder extension for Microsoft Edge (“the extension”) handles information. GiftLink is operated by CoreStack Digital. “GiftLink,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean CoreStack Digital.
This policy is for the extension in Microsoft Edge. After an item is saved to your wishlist, the GiftLink website and application privacy policy applies to that account and wishlist data: GiftLink Privacy Policy.

What the Extension Does
The extension lets you add a product you are viewing in Microsoft Edge to your GiftLink wishlist. It runs when you open it. It does not run in the background, and it does not read other tabs or your browsing history.
Information the Extension Handles
The page you are viewing. When you open the extension on a product page, it reads that page so it can fill in a draft item: product name, price, description, image address, and the page address. It also uses the site name as the retailer. This reading happens in Microsoft Edge on your device.
What you confirm. The extension shows that draft and lets you change it before anything is saved. If you choose to add the item, the extension sends only the details you confirm: product name, price, retailer, product page address, image address, description, quantity, category, and priority. You can close the extension without adding the item. Nothing from the page is sent in that case.
Your GiftLink sign-in. To save an item, you sign in to your GiftLink account. The extension sends your email address and password over HTTPS to GiftLink for that sign-in. The extension does not store your password. GiftLink returns a session token and basic account details (name and email). The extension keeps those, along with the GiftLink address you signed in to, in Microsoft Edge’s extension storage on your device. It also keeps a local copy of wishlist categories and priority labels for up to 24 hours so the form can show them.
Information the extension does not collect. The extension does not collect usage analytics, advertising identifiers, or browsing history. It does not sell information. It does not send the product page, your account, or your password to the retailer, to Microsoft, or to an analytics provider.
Where Information Goes
Confirmed item details and sign-in information go only to the GiftLink service for your account, so GiftLink can authenticate you and add the item to your wishlist. Wishlist items can be visible to other people in your GiftLink group, as described in the GiftLink Privacy Policy.
The extension does not add its own tracking. It does not collect a separate analytics stream. Item and account data stored in GiftLink are kept in your account so you can see and manage them. They are not anonymized, because the extension’s purpose is to add the item to that account.
Your Controls
- Open the extension only when you want to add an item.
- Edit the draft, or close it without adding the item.
- Sign out in the extension. Signing out revokes the session with GiftLink and removes the session token, account details, and cached categories from the extension. Your password is not kept.
- Remove the extension in Microsoft Edge. Removing it deletes the information the extension stored in the browser.
- After an item is on your wishlist, view, edit, or delete it in GiftLink. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information in your GiftLink account, email privacy@giftlink.cloud from the email address on the account. We may verify your identity before completing the request.
Children
The extension is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the extension.
Changes to This Policy
We will update this policy when the extension’s data practices change, and we will change the “Last updated” date above.
